She is always incredibly warm and welcoming, creating a highly relaxing environment. She is knowledgeable and tailors everything to address the specific concerns I have with my skin. Honestly, this has to be one of the most incompetent locations I have ever been. I believe the manager only works 1 day a week and if you have an issue don't expect to ever hear from them.

I had a massage on a Thursday. When I got there I checked in just fine, gave me name and told my masseuse would be with me shortly. I arrived about 5 minutes early. After about 15 minutes one of the front desk workers asked me for my name again. Told me my massage was actually at 2 and not at 1. After showing her my texts that I had confirmed this massage I was apologized to. When I inquired further what number they had reached out to to reschedule my massage I was informed they were talking about a totally different person. My massage was just totally cancelled that day without any notice after confirming it.

One week later they called an hour before my wife's massage cancelling it because there was no availability. Once again when asked to speak to a manager there is never one on call but maybe this Sunday one might be available. I can't believe as a franchise Hand and Stone could stand behind this location. It is an absolute mess. There are other locations nearby that are run much better.

Up until a couple months ago, I would have given them 3-4 stars. Now - don’t waste your money.

I went to cancel my account in May 2024 because my regular masseuse was leaving and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get appointments at a decent time. When I went to cancel, an employee told me I could freeze my account for 3 months so I could use the massages I had leftover. Now that I’m going to cancel my account, I’m being told that I had to give 30 days notice and I’m going to be charged AGAIN! When I talked to them in May, I took very good notes on the process and I was NEVER told that I needed to give 30 days notice. They only told me I had 5 packages in the system, that I could see Ilona or Alison (but she was in her 3rd trimester so may not be there much longer), and that I had to call back to cancel before 8/26.
This Hand and Stone had one good masseuse and she moved. Since then, I have seen 3-4 different people for massages and no one compares. On top of that, it is impossible to get appointments unless you book three weeks in advance and can go on a Tuesday morning.
How can you charge for another month when your staff doesn’t tell your members that they will be charged? It’s unacceptable.
In addition, Brandy from the Mount Olive NJ location was so unhelpful. She was rude, cut me off twice while I was speaking, didn’t know they corporate number (she told me twice that I had to Google it), and refused to provide me with the owner’s name. She told me I signed paperwork over 15 months ago that I need to give 30 days notice. 15 months ago? Seriously?
She said that she couldn’t stop this month’s payment on my credit card because it had to go through corporate. Seeing that the corporate phone number directs me RIGHT BACK TO THE MOUNT OLIVE LOCATION for cancellations, I’m SURE that she could have easily cancelled the charge.

The place was friendly from time walked in. Rachel was a top of the line facial person! I walked in with a rough face and she did an amazing job to relax me with creams so therapeutic and a wonderful shoulder message. Her recommendation for a scrub was smart. I even got extra samples I asked about. She'll always be my girl. Thank you Rachel!

Jennifer was very thorough and focused on all of the areas that were bothering me. She worked on my pyatica and gave me recommendations on how to better treat it. I received a foot scrub and she also recommended some at home ways to keep skin soft and vibrant. The entire experience was one that I know I will be doing again and requesting Jennifer for the treatment.

I have a monthly membership which is definitely worth the price. Always a good experience and friendly staff. I go to Jennifer for Swedish massage, and will definitely continue, she is attentive and professional. Very clean, relaxing and enjoy the time for myself.
